R&G Becomes Formal Technical Training Partner For Sullivan Mounsey

Here at R&G, we are always eager to support the next generation of racing talent, and with the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup getting underway this weekend at Jerez, we’re thrilled to announce we’re a Formal Technical Training Partner for British entrant Sullivan Mounsey!

Having finished runner-up in the 2023 R&G British Talent Cup, Sullivan is no stranger to our extensive range of crash protection, having used the products on his race bikes for several seasons.

As a Formal Technical Training Partner, we’re going to be equipping his fleet of training bikes, including his Triumph Daytona 675R, Suzuki GSX-R600, KTM RC450GP Moto3, and Yamaha YZ450F, with a full suite of protection. This includes our R&G Engine Case Covers, Crash Protectors and Lever Guards, all essential additions for any rider heading out on a track day.

2026 is going to be an exciting year for the 18-year-old, as he not only embarks on his third season in the fiercely competitive Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup but will also be competing in the new-look FIM MotoJunior World Championship, riding for the CIP Green Power Junior Team.

The opening round of the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup kicks off this weekend at Jerez as a support race to the MotoGP round. The MotoJunior gets underway at Catalunya on May 22-24.

Simon Hughes, Managing Director of R&G:

“It is always a big step for our British riders to make the jump from the BSB paddock to the Grand Prix stage, so we’re really pleased we can support Sullivan on his journey by protecting his training bikes. It’s been a pleasure watching his progress from the R&G British Talent Cup through to the World Championship, and we’re sure 2026 is going to be a memorable year for him!”

Sullivan Mounsey:

Having R&G supporting me with crash protection is a key part of my programme, and I'm really proud to carry the name. It allows me to focus on performance and development, knowing the bike is properly protected in every session. I train a lot on track throughout the season, pushing more and more to be at the top and with this comes crashes so having the level of support from R&G means a lot on my journey.”
